School Discipline

In devising a Code of Behaviour, consideration has been given to the particular needs of this new school.

The aim is to create a safe learning environment for all children. This in turn will lead to a secure, happy, well-motivated and positive attitude throughout the school.

The school will place greater emphasis on reward rather than on sanctions, in the belief that this will in the long-term give the best results. Good behaviour is rewarded and encouraged.

Children are encouraged to respect themselves, school staff, their peers, the school building and equipment, and the environment in which they live.

The school will be committed to a positive proactive approach against bullying.
