About Holy Trinity National School

Holy Trinity National School (Sandyford Parish) is a co-educational, Roman Catholic, vertical school set up under the patronage of the Archbishop of Dublin. We operate under the Department of Education and Skills. We have three classes at each class level from Junior Infants to 6th class.
The school was established in 2005. First opening its door in the parish rooms in St Mary’s Church Sandyford on September 1st 2005 by our founder and first chairperson Fr. Eamann Cahill (parish priest of Sandyford 2001 - 2010). James Tobin, was appointed as Principal.
On March 31st 2006, the school moved to a three unit prefab unit on the site of the permanent school building. After a long wait the building of our permanent school commenced on July 8th 2013.
December 2014, saw the end of a rewarding and challenging two-year period in the life of our school community which had seen the completion of our brand new state of the art school building. A building of this grandeur is only fitting for our high standards of academia, behavior, organisation, teaching and learning.
At Holy Trinity National School, every child matters. We are committed to recognising the unique gifts of each pupil and helping every child to discover and develop their full potential. Our aim is to nurture the spiritual, physical, social, emotional, intellectual, creative, and artistic abilities of all the children in our care.
